all games have errors' but crysis spams them like crazy when playing on ultra detail.

and theres one physics command u can turn off that youll gain 20+ fps and doesnt effect game play.

im not saying crysis is bad its just full of bugs

edit: found video of command

its more like which card can handle the errors better and not the frames
Agreed.

Team Fortress 2 should be the new benchmarker.

What with it's terrible optimization.

Also, people are making rigs with QUAD GPUs.

YES. 4. GODDAMN. GPUs.

And 2 GODDAMN i7s.

I think they also dropped $200 on some liquid nitrogen cooling, so their box doesn't melt when you breathe on the power button.

anything over 2 gpu's doesnt make much sense.

ive had 3 and there was no difference between 2 and 3.

tri sli is slightly better then tri crossfire but still doesnt warrent the extra cost of a third plus gpu.

and liquid nitrogen is only used for extreme benching a system, unless you plan to keep filling the pot every 5 mins while ur using ur machine.

I've got 2 gpu's but getting a single gpu of equal output is sounding a whole lot better. (why have 3-4 when 1 really powerful one can do the job just as well and saves you on power consumption + heat?)[I think...]
Yeah, although it can sometimes cost MORE than your 3-4 GPUs.

Also, not much supports tri/quad SLI/Fire-X since there's like, 5 mobos that support it and one of them requires you to saw your third card in half.

Would it be worth it to upgrade my 4890 to 6000 series? I'm kindof like SandwichSpy in that my mobo only has 1 slot. Trying to get the most card for under $200... Help me out boys and girls. So it's either upgrade to a six core processor, or the GPU. which one should I do?

Pre, if you upgrade your gpu, I'd consider buying your 4890... I currently have one and would be up for running them in SLI.

I got a 4650 atm, i could use the upgrade more.

Pssttttt. sell it this way :D

as cool as a new GPU is, the only games i really play are WoW and TF2. I've thought over it a bit and dropping $200+ on a new gpu to get 10 more fps in TF2 isnt exactly worth it atm.
