Need some quick emergency help

Post by Magus »

So, my grandma back home had her computer go to shit today. She spends a lot of time on her computer, and I think I can salvage the Hard Drive. Now, I have the chance to get home this weekend and help her out, but I completely refuse to buy a computer from best buy or some shit retailer. So I'm debating buying something off newegg. Now, it can't be too expensive and I don't need to be able to run bf3 at 1000 FPS. I need something solid, I even think

THIS http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBund ... mbo.770956

Is a little overkill. Help me find something quickly so I can order it and build it this weekend for her. Thank you. Complete packages only *Let me know if i'm gonna need to go buy an DVD drive, etc. Thanks.

Do you know what's salvagable? If it's as simple as replacing one part, that'd be the cheapest. But new, I agree with Stephen. AMD APU.
