i loved my black berry messenger and hated giving it up when i got a droid
but there is an app out that is very similar that works cross OS called

Yeah I have been hearing about it a lot. I'm not cool and dont' have a cool phone but most of my friends really praise kik. I guess it has some nice features and like you mentioned it works cross OS.

RIM is suing them for patent infringement, so they may not be around much longer if they lose.

I have a BB... have a couple friends that had BBs but moved on to android based phones. if this doesnt get shut down, i'll have them check it out
