I have a 9800gt by XFX with 750.

Im thinking of getting this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductRe ... 14-130-514

That a good upgrade or should I wait?

Other specs:
AMG phenom 9550 quad core
4 gigs ram

The GTS250's direct competitors are the HD5750 ($125) and the HD4850 ($90). Their performance is exactly identical, with the GTS250 beating the HD4850 in power consumption, but losing to the HD5750 in the same.

Then there are 5, count them, 5 models of the HD5770 for under $140 (AR). The ASUS CuCore edition is by far the most superior, able to overclock extremely well. The HD5770 (any brand) outperforms the GTS250 by around 20-30%, and an HD5770 OC'd to 975core/1200memory (achieved through voltage changes (through software) ), will beat it by around 35-40%, quite an upgrade. The HD5770's power consumption is around 85Watts load, so your PSU that powers your 9800GT is more than fine.

Do not buy any nVidia if it's under $200.
