bought my comp for $800. Bought it all during black friday sales on newegg, got about $1,500 worth for the $800 including a monitor all with free shipping. you wanna make a pc, do it then.

I would have thought about going with less cores that were faster. This is of course assuming gaming will be the primary activity. Otherwise more cores is better.

8000 mAh battery. Damn. But with that big a monitor and with an i7, hmm, maybe 10 min battery life still? J/k that'll last a pretty good time actually. I seem to recall seeing a similar system to that on Newegg in my email box within the last week for $800. Definately same core and RAM amount, and I believe it was a Toshiba. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834114803 Similar specs, though half the battery and a wierd resolution for the screen size. (It was $800 a couple days ago...or was it $900?).
