The server is now running a plugin to allow all talk to be binded to a serperate key.

Now you will have two voice keys All talk and Team Talk

All you have to do is download this file autoexec.cfg
autoexec.cfg
DOWNLOAD THIS FILE FOR EASY ALL TALK
SAVE TO: C:\program files\steam\steamapps\username\team fortress 2\tf\cfg\
(98 Bytes) Downloaded 1363 times
If you already have autoexec.cfg in your config folder you will want to add these lines of code to the bottom

Code: Select all

alias +alltalk "voiceall; +voicerecord"
alias -alltalk "-voicerecord; voiceall"
bind f +alltalk
autoexec.cfg can be located at C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\team fortress 2\tf\cfg\
*replace username with your steam username

you can change the key to be use by replacing the f to what key you want in this line

Code: Select all

bind f +alltalk

I know this is an old feature and you guys are probably used to it, but awesome. Really, this sort of thing should be standard in TF2 by now. Good work.

i dont see how it could, it just enters some lines of code that are available to users, but on servers it accepts it differently.

you dont need to anything with it besides saving it to the location and then running tf2

c:\program files\steam\steam apps\username\team fortress\tf\cfg

replace username with yours.
