It was just broken, it let you win votes with only 1 vote. I will install a new mod for it if anyone can find one.

i didnt miss it. crits are part of the game, and people need to man up and get used to them. EVERYONE has been on both ends of crits, so its not like its unfair to anyone

(i know magus disagrees, as most of my kills on him were from random crits ;-) )

Crits are pretty iffy for me. I like having random crits but I rage super hard when I get killed by one. Either way, they're luck based almost so I don't mind them, though I'm sure others do.

The issue with crits is that they're more game changing the better you are or the more longevity the class your playing has. Someone like Magus or another good demoman/soldier/heavy with a good medic can go an entire round and die very little, or not at all... even at 25k points, I have to kill as many as 10 people every life just to break even, dying once is rough!

But random crits, though rare, spread across an entire team are very common. It forces people who want to do well, or care about points, or care to contribute maximally to their team to play more defensive (AKA boringly). Every one of us has heard someone bitch, "oh that Magus (shark penis, etc.) never comes out without a crits/uber!"

There's a reason for that, cause if you even peek around the corner theres a decent enough shot you (or worse, your medic) will get gayed down by some POS crocket, etc. from someone with 1200 pts and you'll lose the last 15 minutes worth of work. It might take a couple weeks for people to get used to it and adjust their style of play but a crits-free server would be more offensive from both sides, and be more exciting in all.

$.02, That said, I still have enjoyed the server as much as always the last few weeks so crits can't be all that bad.

I have crits turned off on both Junction and 2Fort. I'm pretty sure no one has noticed the difference... except me. Cause I don't die from the random crocket anymore.

I like the way you put that SALT, that makes alot of sense. However, those people had no problem using random crits to get where they're at. Granted they didn't always have them on. *shrug* Meow...

I just want you all to think about something. There's a reason competitive tf2 shifted away from using random crits. In comp, the AREN'T a part of the game.

Crits are lame. Put the vote back in.

And by Crits i mean random or forced. Just remove full crits from the server, kritzkrieg or not.
