PC randomly wouldn't boot yesterday, works now though

That red light normally signifies a GPU issue.

Make sure your Power Connectors are firmly plugged into your card, take the card out and put it back in (re-seat it).

And clear your CMOS.

are the led's beside the cmos battery, if so theres one for bios a and bios b

you either got power spike or bad bios command from windows.

to fix power down remove cord, pop out battery hold down power button for 10 seconds to drain caps, put battery in and power cord and boot back up.

you will have to re-enter all bios info (disable on board audio, set sata to ahci)
