Corsairs high static pressure are designed for radiators

Not all fans are good for rads

Isn't that virtually the same fan that comes with the H100i? They used SP120s on the new 100i (I know it was a different fan for the non-i version), which were supposed to be tweaked SP120s, according to what I remember reading at the time.

Edit for Marcus: My H100i fans are locked to 1100 RPM. Not too bad there. 1200 gets evil.

They are the basically the same fan, just cheaped out, they call them SP120L for some reason. I've put it at quiet which runs about 1000 rpm so it's less noisy. I don't usually see temps go higher than 60 when I'm playing a game at stock CPU frequency. The highest I've got was with Prime95 which was 80. I'll have to do some testing once I overclock it to see if I can run the fans at low rpm.

Reviews on the internet seem to favor the Noctua fans, they are really quiet, you just have to select the one used for rads which are high static pressure.

Also corsair sells 2 types of SP120 and AF120, there are the performance edition and quiet editions high fans. Just make sure you read it carefully, the boxes look exactly the same, I bought AF120 Performance edition instead of the Quiet editions by accident at the store.
