840 Pro is faster, 840 reg. isn't really. But both are obviously still better than a spinner of course.

Well that list's declared specs blows the pants off ones I saw last fall when it came out. Perhaps something changed since then, in which case I apologize. I recall the early reviews after release and being rather underwhelmed by the 840 vs the 840 Pro (the pro looked awesome).

Of course, none of that matters as both are fast and you won't really notice a significant the difference between the two outside of benchmarks.

Joe, enjoy the new toy!

That's awesome, Joe. Can we get one with a better shot of the case? And then another one, when you get it all together.

No Pre, there was only enough film from the 1870s for one more picture. It is too late. /tear

Already told Stephen on Steam, but, I connected the second connecter into the GPU after taking the pic and the SSD is screwed into the bottom of the tray.

I was going to mention the PCIe cable too, then figured you had it in since you showed a pic of the machine booted.

That case's hard drive trays have mounting points for 2.5" HDD/SSDs. Quite handy, though the trays are a lot more solid with a 3.5" drive. (I have the same case).

You can pull either of the 3-drive trays out if you want by the way. I had planned to on mine then decided I liked it better with them in.
