Um, you do realize that a case with better air flow will NOT make your room cooler? If it's raising your room temp that much now, it's doing a decent job of cooling your components. More airflow will put MORE heat in the room. The heat goes somewhere bro. Conservation of energy and all
That said, yea, it's pretty easy to swap the stuff. Unplug cables, pull GFGX and any other cards, pull drives, pull PSU, pull mobo, put it all in new case. Order doesn't really matter, but usually easiest to do something to that effect. Hook things back up. Make sure to get new case front panel connections put in right. Profit.

I guess you'd want to go with a water cooled system.

Do you clean it out regularly? Dust can impede the coolage. I don't leave mine on at night or when I'm not home and I still have to clean the fan filters every month or so.

Re: Considering getting a new computer case
Yes, but it will reach roughly the same room temp (steady-state) anyway. If you want to keep the heat out of your room, build a duct for the case output that vents outside your house as opposed to in your roomSandvichSpy wrote:So does that mean it'd probably increase my overall room temp quicker then?

Re: Considering getting a new computer case
Hmmm. I don't do a lot of that stuff.
Speaking of watercooling, I currently have a nocuta(the one I won at the lan). Would it be worth it to get one of those all-in-one units like the corsair h100 or the antech kuhler90. Could you recommend a water cooling kit that could do a significantly better job than the ones I named above?
I just got the fx-8150, I want to max it out!
