Please post your best benchmark to this thread. It doesnt matter what software used, whether it's the windows experience index, or your favorite third party. Show off the proof of your computers muscle, and feel proud.
I'll go first, I know windows experience index sucks hard, but I still think It's pretty neat.

Re: Benchmark Post
1-7.9 is the gayest scale ever.
Either my SSD is slow as balls for a vertex 2 or my hdd's are being factored in, only seeing a 7.5 there.

Re: Benchmark Post
Hold your horses because Windows 8 increases the max score to 9.9...I installed it on a second HDD to test on my desktop and EVERY score scored 0.2 lower than in Win 7, lol.
And Newman, my Vertex 2 scores a 7.6. 7.5-7.6 is normal for a SATA 2 SSD. 7.9 is with SATA 3 ones (like my lappy's M4 )

Re: Benchmark Post
not like windows score means anything, im assuming the cpu scores are most likely single threaded and are prety much based on clock speed, so if i oced abit it would be 7.9 no problem.
just as your 5870 scores a 7.9
just as your 5870 scores a 7.9

Re: Benchmark Post
Yeah, I'm quite embarrassed with my benchmarks. I have a laptop and not a custom built desktop computer sigh... so everything is low, except the SSD.
My laptop is from 2009 with a Intel GM45/PM45 chipset with a NVIDIA Quandro NVS graphics card, nothing compared to your custom built computers. But I'm very happy with the speed that an SSD has, it's saves soo much time on loading.
I think before I upgraded to the SSD, the Windows Aero Performance was even shittier like 2.5 or something.
