Got a flier this morning in my email: Microcenter is going to have the i5-2500K for $150 on Black Friday. 1/customer in-store only. A very nice CPU. Ridiculous price/performance ratio. They normally sell it for $180. Just thought I'd let you all know.
Also: Intel 320 SSD, 120GB for $120 (after $80 mail-in rebate). I have this drive in my work PC, it is a very good one.

Sadly, there is not a Microcenter in a hundred miles. Also, no Fry's. Those are great deals, though.

Yea I only discovered the awesome that is MicroCenter last fall when I moved to the Boston area. Reminds me a bit of Comp USA which was pretty decent back in the day, but MC is way better!

They also have the AMD Phenom II X4 840 for $50 as well. That's a great deal if you're looking to upgrade an older AM3 processor or to create a cheap server. Not as good as the deal they ran back in the summer for the 840 + mobo for $50, but it's the best one since for it.
