Gaming Laptop

i want to get rid of my desktop pc finally and just get a gaming laptop. tired of being cooped up in my room whenever i want to play something when i could just sit on my couch and watch tv while i play.

i have no idea what to look for though, never owned a laptop and not sure what i need in terms of graphics card on one to be able to play newer games.

any suggestions?

I'm guessing by wanting a gaming laptop you are willing to sacrifice descent graphics for portability?

you can get good graphics with laptop, you just gonna be paying an arm and a leg.

Sager makes some decent gaming laptops. I'd just suggest going through a reseller such as Xotic PC if you go for one. http://www.sagernotebook.com/. GTX 560m/485m/580m are all very powerful, as is the AMD 6970m. I'm talking the notebook versions here.

Heck, even a lowly 555m like I have can play Crysis and such solidly. But if you want a real gaming machine, get one with one of the above GPUs (or 2 if you really want to go crazy).
