Help me fix my headset

So I have a USB Creative Fatal1ty Headset. Today, I was playing and I alt-tabbed. I noticed that my sound cut out, and a notification popped up saying, "USB Device is not recognized by Windows" etc, etc. I tried unplugging and replugging. Nothing. I tried a system restore, nothing. I tried unstalling "Unrecognized Device" from Hardware Manager, nothing. I tried downloading driver from Creative website, ran it, nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not retarded, so i've tried all the basics. Please help me tho :\

Unlikely that you've missed this, but mine has cut out before and just needed a restart.

Try a different USB port.

Have you tried plugging the headphones into a different PC to see if they recoginze?

New usb port, unplug other usb devices,etc. Also unplug them, power off completely, power back on, then plug them in.

I've tried hard restarts, and I tried other USB ports. I've tried powering off, and then restarting. It doesn't work in other USB ports either. I'm going to try in in a different computer today, and then I'll get back to you all.
