Re: Post Your PC
I would love to read about your Water cooling, Stephen. I have no problems digging into my computer, to take it apart. Somehow water and pc's never seem to mix to me, but you can't argue with performance results. You can overclock like you live in Nova Scotia(it's really cold there right).
<---Thanks, Tahko!

Re: Post Your PC
Well you wouldnt accualy use water lol. Some people use distilled water but thats not good it will pick up molucules from the blocks tubing and what not and become conductive again not to mention it tents to evpourate faster.
What im gonna be using is special formula from Freser called Freser One lol, its nonconductive also has anticorosive materials and what not in it, so even it if did spring a leak it wont hurt the computer. Accualy some people even put there computers in big bins of this kinda liquid lol.

Re: Post Your PC
PC coolant is basically antifreeze. I've always wondered if you put Water Wetter into your liquid cooling coolant would it work like it does in a car. I bet it will.

Keep in mind that 1.55volts is crazy for a CPU. I honestly would leave yours where it is. My temps run around 49C full load which isn't bad but my case is phenomenal for airflow. Plus I have 12 93cfm fans. My case also has a fan behind the motherboard to cool the CPU from behind. You get what you pay for in cases.
I use the blood of baby lambs!!!! lol

Re: Post Your PC
I had a TEC setup for a while. I blew out a capacitor on my MB and got rid of the Peltier Chip. So now I just run my X2 550 @ 3.8. 4GB GSkill 1066. Nvidia 8800GTS. Power supply is rockin the Rosewill! You might be saying to yourself,"Self, I wouldn't be caught dead buying anything from Rosewill." But then you would be missing out on not one but two LED fans. I'd like to add I have a total of 3x120mm fans, 5x80mm fans all blowing inward except for the one on the bottom of my case (one of 120mm). Because of the low amount of tornados this year in our part of the country, it's the closet thing I have to seeing a vortex of death.

Re: Post Your PC
My PC isn't much. I just upgraded some parts from my originally store bought computer.
CPU: AMD Sempron LE-1200 2.11 GHz
Video Card: GeForce 9400GT 1GB GDDR2
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2
HD: 143GB + 103GB
Case: 328 Silver ATX Mid Tower
Mobo: Foxconn - MCP61SM2MA-RS2H
PSU: Bestec 350watts
OS: Windows XP
I had originally bought an AMD Phenom X3 8400, but my mobo didn't support it, I guess, so I had to sell it. :\
I also have a 400 watt PSU laying around somewhere. I might start working on my PC again, just need to find a way to make money.
