Now that's fast. I've been hearing a lot of reliability issues longish-term with SSD's, anyone had those issues? I forget what I was hearing, it might have been something with speed declines, or some other crap, honestly I payed little attention since I cannot justify $200 for a single 80-ish GB one.
Those new ones are going to be crazy pricey. Crazy fast though.

they decline if they dont have good garbage collection algorithms and trim.
pretty much all ssd's have them now, only thing is when u raid them they cannot do it.
and sure you can only write to them so many times but its around the same amount before an hdd breaks down anyways.
and for the pricing on the new ones they wont be much more then current gen ssd's because they will go on a smaller fabrication.
ive been on a SSD for almost a year now and im never looking back, ill keep my HDD's for back up but no longer will have one in my machine. there just so damn fast lol.

I'm guessing pretty soon we will see diminishing real world performance gain as the speeds keep going up. The SSDs I have are damn fast though.
