What is is exactly? A recreation of something? I've only played Minecraft a few times (I have better programs), so I can't really make out what it is.

The ALU accepts two 16-bit operands (A and B) and produces a 16-bit result with zero and overflow status flags. You can cascade two units to achieve 32-bit operation without adding logic.
