Linux help
Alright I need help installing drivers on my mx518. I'm a noob at linux(Ubuntu 9.10) and I've researched google and it all sounds greek to me. If anyone could help me out many thanks.

i think your best bet is joe on this one, ive tried linux but gave up. Im fine with windows.

I'd really like to set this up correctly. Linux uses so little resources its sickening, but I've been spoiled by automatic installers my whole life. Joe where are you D:<.

On 9.10 Karmic you need to go to System > Administration > Hardware Drivers
that SHOULD give you a list of drivers for your hardware. if not, the drivers may be restricted, and you need to find a GNU compatible version.
Also, a System > Administration > System Testing may allow Ubuntu to find the hardware in your computer that were hidden to it before.
