...Valve time acting in reverse? Say what?

Meh, I shall wait no problem. I haven't even downloaded any of it yet, lol. Glad I don't have a bandwidth cap, I feel for those that do.

Okay. Yes. I got the game. I watched the countdown expire this morning. My guess: Each game bar that fills up will knock "x" amount of time off the clock. We could see a release any time of day, whenever the counters fill.

I was watching the "webcam" at the main page of http://www.aperturescience.com/ and it only happened the once, at about 30 seconds left on the clock when the camera panned left the skinny tall robot was standing there looking around and the next time the camera looked that way he was gone again.

Neat stuff like this is why I like Valve.

I think we will see a Tuesday release unless we completely fill up the bar. It looks like we are at 3% already, the image with the three bars is a partially hidden .png that has 100 bars on it.

Yup, you're right newman. But I think that each red bar fill will add a certain percentage to the total bar, making it easier for Glados to reboot.

How do those do their computations though? Do they avg. in the completed bars or something? b/c none of the games are done yet. I'm just trying to figure out how they've done the computations.

Companion cube, what the heck is this?!?!? I'm not dependable I shall portal you into the septic goo or the furnace!

EDIT: and I also say Valve releases Portal 2 right on the time they have planned all along which may or may not be the advertised time. Remember the Solly/demo War anyone? That was certainly rigged. Yes, it is easier to track the usage for this to "confirm" but Valve can always claim server glitches or whatnot. Just saying....and even if it is released 10 hours early, I shall be on a serious of plane flights...or sleeping. Lol.

Quit bragging, shithead.

I got a text saying to go to gamestop at 10 pm tonight and then they'll hand me the game at midnight. I thought this was an error so I called the store. Sho nuff! She named of 3 games being released tonight at midnight, Portal 2, SoComm, and blah blah blah is the last one. That's what I heard anyways.
