trying to help out newman...lets get this scheduled. and could we practice the map we are going to play at least once before hand? we are in pool play, so if we run these guys, the pressure will be on the homos. then the homos would have to win also.I have no idea what happens if we both have the same record after the first round is done.


edit: We don't play them until week 3, which starts Oct. 11. They play the homos this week. We want them to tie like we did. That way, if we beat the melons outright, we win the group. We will be playing the melons on Dustbowl & Granary. I hate to tell people what to do, so I'll just tell you what I'm going to do...play Dustbowl & Granery instead f badwater all the time!

We could set up a match vs Brotherhood of Slaughter playing those 2 maps. They have challenged us again, and it will keep us active in the ETF2Ladder. I'll need some feed back soon so we can schedule against BOS.

I was looking at this yesterday - if you look at the Melons team page - they have yet to play a game. I am wondering if they are still in the tournament?

As for BOS - yes I'd love another shot at them.

The team we played on Sunday had no matches played until then either. Melons wont have a match in the tourney until week 2.

You're correct - some didn't bother with ladder play apparently. Dust & Granary it is - I should be open except for Friday night Pre.

Just remember, we're talking Euros here. They're doing this tournament like the world cup. Right now we're in group play. Except unlike the world cup, only one team advances.

2.3.1 Playoff Fixture System

After all teams have played their Group matches, the 1st place teams of each group will get promoted to the playoffs in a straight knockout competition with Single Elimination Mode. Every round will be a Best of 3 Maps, which means the first team reaching two Map Wins gets to the next Round.

Sounds good. Yes, we should play Dustbowl way more you guys who don't know the map. Stop jerking off on Badwater. Play some Granery too, please. I'm really not thrilled with what went down Sunday, and I'll leave it at that. There was no excuse for it.

Pre, any night this week should be fine by me, though preferably not tomorrow (Wed) night. I just rebuilt my comp with an SLI set up and need to test it for stability, plus tomorrow is kinda late notice anyway I'd say. Weekend is great too, any time there except late Sunday night of course.

Whether we play BOS or some other ladder team, we need a minimum of 2 ladder games before our next match i would say. We have 2 weeks, lets do it.

Can't play tonight, but Thursday looks good and into the weekend.

Should we play on Sunday? About the same time again?

Badwater & Badlands - I like that.

I could make any night work - but Sundays do seem to work for this team.
