I'll send a challenge for next Friday night. Ooohhhh, what about a late night one? Lets say it'll start at 11? How would that work for everyone?

I encourage it. Count Steak in. I want everyone to be drunk. Or drinking to catch up.

Hello people. (You to Tahko :D) . Somehow my name got screwed up when I registered. It should be "(rG) Mr. Dorf", but that's not a big deal. Anyways, I talked to Stephan yesterday about a possible scrim match between our 2 communities - - (clans?). Then I took it back to the fearless leader and she is chomping at the bit, sharpening her bonesaw, ready for action this coming Sunday afternoon.

You are cordially invited to a scrim match on one of our servers provided:

1. You need to get your people together. (Bit**, I know)
2. We need to get out people together. (Also might be a bit**)
3. We have to decide on a time.
4. Have to decide on a map. (2fort?)

In any case, I will get our team leader in here and you guys can make the arrangements.
Please treat her with respect. (I'm trying to get into her panties, but I can't remember why.)

I could actually do Sunday. Unless they moved our fantasy football draft, which they've done 4 times already...

well we will set it up through the etf2l site if you dont mind, it will give them a taste of what to expect when the challenge starts, weve already played a few games and ran into most of the probs were gonna have.

and i dont think 2fort its one of the playable maps.

and its usualy 2-3 maps

do you guys have a servers setup for it yet, with the correct configs

Whoa horsey. Don't you want to see if we can fill our team yet? Granted Stephen and I could take on all comers but it'd be nice if our new super star, maddmattd, signed some autographs and waved to the crowds.

*wave*

Lol Hulk.

For a Friday night, late would be alright, midnight's getting a bit late to start, but whatever. That's what Saturday morning is for: sleep. Sunday afternoon/early evening is fine too, just let us know.

AND NO 2FORT PLEASE!

It isn't one of the maps anyway I don't think. How about Upward as one of the maps, its in the tournament rotation and we could use more practice on it. Freight/Gran too? Maybe a third (like Dustbowl since that's a rotation map we haven't done too).

By the way, it sounds like the tournament is going to start a bit later (not 9-12) due to the teams not being in brackets yet? Official word likely coming soon.

I can make Sunday if needed. Especially for a Kaboom tournament. (Essentially ATG does not lose on 2fort - we bet the house on Russian Roulette odds.)

Now, on to more "pressing" issues - Mr. Dorf - let me be the first to congratulate you on going after your leader's undergarments. I especially like the Babe Ruth esque "calling your shot". Generally I don't let my students make such bold proclamations until they reach graduate level. I am not sure if you are at that level or not - but you've got some attitude there - so even if this one doesn't take to your advances - I see a long and successful career - Congratulations To You Sir!

Setting it up @ etf2 is fine with me Steph. As for 2fort, I just threw that out there. Not a problem. I did advise our leader to stay away from badwater tho. LOL

@BEN: Love your post sir. Stephan will tell you I'm probably the oldest guy playing TF2. My "career" is all over with and yes it was successful. Thank you very much.

Bah!

Sylvester Stallone's career was supposedly over and we have "The Expendables"!
Muhammad Ali's career was supposedly over and he won a THIRD Heavyweight Title!
Tiger Woods career is supposedly over - but from what I hear he is scoring more then ever!

And remember this my friend - "Older The Bull Stiffer The Horn!"

As long as you are breathing and the fairer sex continues to walk this green earth - NOTHING IS OVER!

I AM SO DEMOTIVATED RIGHT NOW.

I'm still young, does that mean there's nothing for me to accomplish?

ah man, I hate being a noob.
