@deseller: why not just try can you run it? http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri just install whatever plugins it asks for, allow the applet, and select starcraft II beta from the dropdown list. much easier and faster than torrenting

@kitten: mine should arrive on the 30th :\

Gamestop's online store had the Collectors Edition for $99, but you could for a short while add a $20 off coupon and another coupon for free shipping. Unfortunately that was fixed already.

Blizzard said my computer cant handle this game, even though I'm currently running it at maxed settings with a FPS of about 60.

Do you like RTS games?
Have you played the first Starcraft?
Are you a Blizzard whore?

I went by an EB game this morning heading in for work, the lineup was really small for Starcraft 2, a lot shorter than when COD MW2 came out.

I read somewhere that SC2 will be free for WoW players in South Korea, cuz it's going to be subscription based.

I'm going to wait to get my copy of the game, never been good playing online, always got raped by someone playing way faster. I usually play with friends on LAN with the original, but Blizzard decided not to support it in the second one

I was on the fence too guys, but I pulled the trigger yesterday.

Honestly, it's pretty incredible. And not just the game; the new Battle.net integrated system is pretty seamless and makes many functions incredibly easy. I was actually pretty stunned when my first game found partners for me faster than matchmaking does on xbox live.

I'm through 1 chapter of the campaign and have done mb 8 online matches. Theirs an ingame friends system. Also, the achievement/reward system will keep diehards playing FOREVER just to unlock some new features.

IMO: from what I've seen so far it's a game with great longevity that I will prob play for the substantial future.

some of those bad reviews are so unjustified it makes me angry.
Punha R gave it a3:
Cliche history, short campaign, overpriced, 1/3 of a game for the price of a full game, graphics doesnt scale well (i have a radeon4870, playing int on max at 1920x1200 the game drops to 15 fps when there is 5 or more units doing shit on the screen), pathetic attempt to please the casual masses with a bullshit history line. i wish my money back.
to summarize: it continues the storyline, 60 dollars is too much for a video game, and my video card is too shit to run the game at max settings.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck though. ups still hasn't delivered :\ better be here tomorrow

I bought the game, had fun doing 4v4 with friends. The mp sadly is a lot less tactical and a lot more about hwo fast can you spam a tier 1 unit.

Playing the campaign now pretty fun.
