For the Beta, go into your battle.net account and there should be an option that says Beta Profile Settings, click on it and make sure the games you want to try the beta for are checkmarked.

And yes the Beta testers will be Randomly Picked.

I signed up too. You can still register for it on Battle.net i think.

I will play anyone and everyone that gets a key.
Also, it hasn't for sure been announced, they just hinted that the beta will be available "not just to media and VIPs, but to all of our fans" or something like that.

considering this game has been coming out for... 10 years? i will not believe that it's actually finished and out until it is in my hands, on my computer, and i'm playing it. and even then i will be expecting a blizzard ninja to bust in my front door and steal it back while i sleep.

what do you mean? Does this mean only 1 DL per launcher?

It looks like that error is a known issue. Solved by redownloading a new copy of the downloader.

So you guys are in the beta?

I'm not but there are hopes that they will periodically give out more beta participants
