What are our cost options?

Let's say 10 of us put in $5 a month. What does $50 a month get us?

What if the founders aren't in charge of it? Let's say hypothetically, that I bought the server, and still had you guys as admins(anyone that's an admin right now) and I called it an ATG server, which I would(hypothetically). How could I get included in the donations side of ATG?

Or what if we halfsies with another community? Is that an option? Gen. Douchebag, he doesn't come to the forums because he can't read, he's asked me to speak on his behalf. Some of these are his questions too?

Its probably pretty had to go half/half with another person/community unless one was in charge of the bill paying and the others just put a bit of money into it.

Id go 24.

I doubt alot of people have Battlefield 3.

And even if they do, I highly doubt it will remain fun to play for very long.

I call bad idea, but then again, I don't own battlefield 3.

Its would be good but I think we will still be able to play together and find a good server even if we dont own it

The problem is we can't even get that some months for our current bills...It's usually the same 3-4 people donating...and I don't see that changing for more than a month or two stretch.

The thing to consider is do we want a server and always be the ones on different teams to balance things or do we just gang up on a random server and not worry that we are rolling noobs?

Well we'd also NEED a 64-slot for Caspian, correct? I think it's important that we get a quality HARDWARE server in this case, not just slots, because the last thing we want is a server that can only provide 64 users with 20fps a piece.

Anyway, just my $.02 I think if we bring people in from the game, it could be successful and we could afford to run it. But if we just play and don't bring people in, I can't see us being able to maintain it for long.

BFBC2 i think we maintained that server maybe 3 months... we used it like crazy first 2 weeks ... then when we logged there werent people on server and then we would try and populate it ... then by month 2 we had given up populating it and just started grouping on other people servers
