Tribes: Ascend now available for download

Hi-Rez Studios has announced the release of Tribes: Ascend, its sci-fi multiplayer shooter for PC. The game is now available for digital download and the release build includes nine playable classes, five game-modes, and 16 maps. Recent additions include the CTF map Raindance, as well as a new game-mode called Capture and Hold. The Release build also includes a preview of the Custom Server functionality that will soon be available to players. Download the game directly through the official website.

Downloading now, gonna try and play some this weekend. Anyone down for some games?

Looks alot like Halo on Steroids

It's a great game. I'd say, it did halo on steroids before there even was a Halo. Halo was more of "Tribes: Casual Edition". The original tribes was just as fast (if not faster) and even gave Quake a run for its money is skill-ceiling. It's a lot of fun, and if anyone else tries it, don't get discouraged on your first few plays. It takes awhile to get used to the skiing and aiming tactics.
