Gift Giveaway - Monday Night Combat

Post by Molimo »

I've got some copies of Monday Night Combat to giveaway.

For the First Copy, I will be on Badwater at some time tonight, I will take a Screenshot at one point and the game will go to whoever has the top score who is:
- Registered to the forums

For the Second copy I'll do a simple trivia (Like Wisoka did for Hats once)

Rules:
- I will give out 1 Clue for each 10 guesses. (Unless less than 10 people want this)
- You can only guess once for each Clue.
- The answer will either be a Real Person, Or a Character (Movies, TV Series, Cartoons etc...)
- Google is your friend :P

Clue #1
When I was born, The Julian Calendar was still being used in my country.

If we win one copy of the game, but we already have it. Can we choose who we could give it to?

For your first clue, are we supposed to find out where you were born? I'm asking because you said that the answer will either be a real person or a character.

That's a rather vague clue. Nearly every westernized country used the Julian calendar until the 20th century. Some even longer then that.

Yeah, lol. The Julian Calendar was formed very late B.C. and it is still used to this day in some countries.

I'll guess anyways: William Shakespeare

Finally someone who took a guessed. I know I made it a bit vague, But there are so many clues that would of given this person's name right away. Here are some more clues:

Clue #2: (hard one to put in words without giving it away)
Even though my country adopted the Gregorian Calendar in the 1700s, When my birthday is celebrated or remembered, The Julian calendar date is normally the one they use. (Because the date has significance meaning).

Clue #3
I was Knighted by the queen.

I hope this helps a bit, I try not to give something out too much. If no one gets this answer from this, My next clue will practically give it away.

Yeah Sandvich got it, It was hard to give out clues that weren't too obvious. I planned to say
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
But even mentionning anything about Newton's Laws would have given it away as well.
Pm me your steam info Sandvich or Add me: Molimo69.

Also Deno if you want the second copy, You were the one that had the highest score on Badwater last night when I was on (Before the server crashed). Let me know.
