werewolves are part of the companions quest line in Whiterun. It's not that great. You can't loot while in beast form

Yeah, I finally became a Lycan. How long does the beast mode last? I end up dying when in it so I haven't seen him turn back to human form.

from what i heard, werewolf form lasts from nightime to morning, so in order to constanlty get it, just keep waiting till u get to nightime

Heard Werewolf was easy mode, avoiding that. Just turned difficulty up 2x as well.

This weekend I'm gonna start a Khajit Thief/Archer as I read they cannot join Stormcloaks so they must join the Empire. Should be cool to see how world changes.

so how hard does this game rule? I'm having trouble parsing the explosive circle jerk over this game on reddit into any real evaluation...tempted to just say fuckit and blow the 60 bucks but I just bought dragon age and barely even started it.

The game is very time consuming. I don't like the talent trees very much as I don't think I'd use much of them. (fuck alchemy, illusion, alteration, archery. that stuffs boring.) The traveling is 10x worse than Fallout 3/NV. There are a ton of side quests so the story would be a tiny bit difficult to follow. I actually forgot which quest was the main quest for a bit. A few other things about the game kind of make me angry, but this is just my preference and nothing major.

The thing I like most about this game is you're able to do pretty much anything you want. You want to be a Werewolf-Arch Mage-Bard-Dual Wielder who is married..? Go for it. Just today I killed a Blood Dragon with no clothes/armor on.

I think it's safe to say the gameplay is almost exactly like Fallout 3/NV, so if you really liked that game you'd probably like this. Unless you hate Norse Mythology and Medieval Themes. I'm sure someone else could give Das a better summary of this game though.

However, there's a ton of mods ALREADY and more otw, and as I said I know what you liked about fallout.

Also for those who dislike the UI, there will almost certainly be some very good UI mods done soon if there aren't already. Especially if Darn does one for Skyrim like he did for Oblivion/FO3/NV.
