That was like the most ridiculous goal ever. Didn't that guy have 4 goals in that match? Good grief.TheKeef wrote:

Re: Random Pics & Vids of Awesome
Lol at work they gave me a high end MacBook Pro and I wanted to connect it to a monitor to have more desktop space. Since they want their laptops to be slim they can't have a VGA out, so I need a Mini Display port to DVI/VGA 34$ At least my employer is paying it. And the DVI will only be single-lin...

According to Stephen's quote, you just need Source SDK Base 2007. Any Source Game installed should work (ie TF2) unless I misunderstand (probably do).PRETENDICA wrote:Owning and having it installed? I own HL2, but it's not installed.

Re: Thinking I need to RMA this board...
Sounds like RMA the card to me.
That card will be fine for 3 monitors if you aren't asking to run Crysis full out in eyefinity, which it sounds like you aren't.

Re: Considering getting a new computer case
Yes, but it will reach roughly the same room temp (steady-state) anyway. If you want to keep the heat out of your room, build a duct for the case output that vents outside your house as opposed to in your roomSandvichSpy wrote:So does that mean it'd probably increase my overall room temp quicker then?

Re: Considering getting a new computer case
Um, you do realize that a case with better air flow will NOT make your room cooler? If it's raising your room temp that much now, it's doing a decent job of cooling your components. More airflow will put MORE heat in the room. The heat goes somewhere bro. Conservation of energy and all ;) That said,...

Windowed works fine in SLI. Ran that config for 6 months or so before upgrading to the 560.

Still, cool to know. Might have to jump on this, I have a bunch of games not installed due to space issues (80ish GB left).

Re: Benchmark Post
Hold your horses because Windows 8 increases the max score to 9.9...I installed it on a second HDD to test on my desktop and EVERY score scored 0.2 lower than in Win 7, lol.
And Newman, my Vertex 2 scores a 7.6. 7.5-7.6 is normal for a SATA 2 SSD. 7.9 is with SATA 3 ones (like my lappy's M4 )

Re: SSD Harddrive
So I'm an idiot because Sandvich has a 1366 board, so no Intel 6GBps ports. Thus he gets to use the Marvell ones, which while not as good as a real 6GBps port (Intel), they still do way better than SATA 3GBps ones.

Re: SSD Harddrive
Many boards do have multiple controllers. Since you have a 1155 board, one will be the Intel 6GBps ports (2, often white, your SSD should go on the INTEL 6GBps ports only), one is the Intel 3GBps ports (SATA 2 if you insist), and one will be for the Marvell 6GBps ports, which never work at full spee...
