Together it cost me about $900 or so. But you could probably cut down some costs easily. Let me know if you have any questions =)

Yeah I got a 5850, went with boybutt's suggestion for the motherboard (m4a79xtd evo). 750W corsair. The WD Black HDD. Everything else is pretty much the same. It all went together well, no issues or DOA's. Running windows 7 x64 on it and downloading tf2. I'll post a better response later and picture...

Yes theoretically twice a s fast. I think the newer versions of raid even use redundancy. (Raid 5) so go get another 1.5 TB drive and double your speed Aaron!
