Re: Make Magus not hate you *as much*
I don't have my own online moneyz account so sorry. I had to force joey to gift me TF2. All my other steam games were free. Oh god that was so awesome xD I had an online bank account, and used it to buy TF2 for myself, and THEN transferred 20 dollars to the account. Then, TF2 was activated on my ac...

Re: Is this normal?
I don't think so, but then again it depends. Mine is really cool, running at 700watts, but it has a huge fan. do you know exactly how hot it runs? Graphics cards are designed to run at around max 60-70 degrees celsius, so I cannot imagine a PSU being supposed to go higher than that, especially since...

Re: My laptop is probably dead
well they say that apparantly USB3 motherboards and socktes alreay dperform betet rwuith USB2 drives/. So I think that uSB3 probably has a lower latency, and that USB3 drives will perform way better than USB2, maybe installing OS on USB devices will not be such a pain anymore?

Re: My laptop is probably dead
For backups, yes. For OS/Software, not so much. The latency the USB port + the 60MB/s transfer rate bring really limit the capabilities as compared to normal IDE/SATA harddrives. The Latency in USB makes it really not cool for gaming, as aeverytime your game needs graphics, it has to wait extra for...

Well, I don't know about you, but I dont know shit about IE xd The abbreviation i.e. (i.e., that is) is often confused with other abbreviations (e.g., e.g.). The i.e. generally is used to introduce matter that is explanatory as opposed to being the name of an example or list of examples. If you can...

GETTING HACKED I hate it when people say "I got hacked" as soon as they lose control over some account. Fuck, hacking is Using your own methods or knowledge to break into a system in a manner not meant to happen, for example finding/using your own exploits. If someone guessed your passwor...

Hrrm, Zune is pretty cool too, but I dont like the orange colors in it. I'm a blue+green type of guy (or green/red/darkblue+black).Joe wrote:eww luna, one of the first things I install when I use XP is the Zune theme.

Re: My laptop is probably dead
Try taking out the harddrive, and putting it back in. YOu may think it wont work, but it did for my mom's laptiop. It wouldnt do anything anymore, turns out some dust got into the sata connection somehow and ruined it, and so the electricity wasn't correct, causing it to fail booting. well that is n...

Re: Sound Distortion problem
if you have access to empty DVD's/CD's and a CD/DVD burner, you could try booting up from a liev linux distro and see if it happens in there. (or If it gives you some kind of error)

Re: AMD/Steam Partnership
I haven't tried it, but to be safe I won't. I just download the drivers and the whole shebang from AMD themselves. I don't know how steam does the update exactly, but I know that ATI releases drivers once a month and I always check. SO I don't think I really need it. However for less tech savvy peop...

I left winamp on since it's always on, so it's kinda part of my desktop. http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/1244/naamlooscf.png I am using luna for windows 7 theme (n...
