Download Gparted Live. Put it onto a USB or CD and boot it.

You might be able to force a format on the SSD with this if it doesnt crash it.
I use this software alot to format or resize drive partitions.

Yeah I would try this, On your first run, simply plug in the bare minimum. and see if that works. It could be a short preventing the PSU from powering up.

That red light normally signifies a GPU issue.

Make sure your Power Connectors are firmly plugged into your card, take the card out and put it back in (re-seat it).

And clear your CMOS.

Yeah Stephen is right, Your Card might only get about 550-700 or so. You always have to consider the power consumption as well. Best bet would be to put it into your PC and see what you can get out of it with similar card configurations. and Mining Altcoins can be time consuming as the Value/Difficu...

First thing is forget about "Bitcoin" Bitcoin has a SHA256 Algorithm which has been taking over by the ASIC Chips. in other words, people don't mine Bitcoins with GPUs anymore because it is inefficient. To give you an idea, your 7970 would give you about 0.10-0.20$ a day at the very most. ...

I'm pretty sure it's not going to be disc based, It will be running Steam afterall.

I've also heard they had 3 big annoucements. 1 that will be said on Monday. No information on the other 2 yet.
