Looks like that is incorrect. EA/DICE only asked that of one of their UK server vendors, and server owners CAN opt-out of the shutdowns. I've found the best way to get updates is via the battlefield blog.

Is there a website that will show my current stats? I looked all over ea with no luck. Also, this is VERTICAL fov. If you are using a 16:10 resolution like me, use "80."
