So do I need a network card or will the onboard network on the mobo be good enough? And would a 750W be better than 650W in my case?

Thank you Stephen, I will put that into consideration. Is there anything about the 4870 vs the 4890? Whether it's worth it or not? (I hear that the difference in performance isn't too significant)

Yeah I'm a bit confused about thermal compound and how to apply it (thin layer over cpu?). Also I'm not sure whats the difference between a PCI-e slot and the slots that you insert ram into. There's also the "grounding" rule I don't understand and how long do I have to keep my hands touchi...
